La Grange Satellite Systems was established in 1979, primarily for the sales and service of home satellite systems. Since then, La Grange Satellite has built and owned two cable systems and entered into the commercial arena. La Grange Satellite Systems also was a pioneer in building fiberglass satellite antennas and has a patent on a feed horn support for large 10 foot fiberglass antennas. La Grange Satellite was the first to use the chrome plated marine hardware and pin striping to make the big ugly dish have a pleasing appeal. La Grange Satellite Systems was a pioneer member of both S.P.A.C .E. and S.T.T.I. and exhibited many times at their conventions.

La Grange Satellite Systems was one of the first satellite dealers to enter into the DSS small dish services for home use.

Today, La Grange Satellite Systems and now Services not only sells and installs and services home DSS systems, La Grange Satellite Services installs, services and deinstalls VSAT systems for various commercial companies across the Country. A sister company of La Grange Satellite Services is Mark Twain Computer Mfg. Inc. of the same address that custom builds and also services and installs computer systems and networks for home and business.

Some of the companies that utilize La Grange Satellite Service are, U.S.S. United Service Source of Florida, VIATECH International of Oregon and Telsat of Georgia. La Grange Satellite Services does FORDSTAR, U.S.P.S. ED Jones, Amoco Oil, DTN, Spacenet, GTE, and others.

La Grange Satellite Services utilizes the latest laptop computers with GPS along with the latest Spectrum analyzers, and cell phones to work directly with the suppliers. La Grange Satellite Services prides itself that most every service call has been serviced within 24 hours. The primary service area for La Grange Satellite Services is the North East Quarter of the State of Missouri, the South East Quarter of the State of Iowa, and the West Central part of the State of Illinois. But, will take in the whole state of Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois.

La Grange Satellite Services also does downlinking for various companies with a large screen projection system hooked to a transportable ten foot satellite antenna that incorporates C-Band - Ku-Band - DBS feeds.
